Chairwoman and Chief Executive Officer of FDJ UNITED
We marked a significant milestone in our company’s journey, as we unveiled our new name and identity: FDJ UNITED. As the Chairwoman and CEO, it fills me with immense pride and excitement to share this moment, which signifies not just a transformation, but the dawn of a new era for our entire organisation.
We’ve been heading on this path for quite some time. It started ten years ago, when we embarked on a process of transformation. The privatisation of the group in 2019 was a major step in our evolution, along with the acquisition of the Irish lottery operator PLI in 2023, and then Kindred in 2024. These events placed us as one of Europe’s top three gaming operators, reinforcing our solid foundation and diversifying our capabilities.
The creation of a new name and identity is a visible reflection of the growth and ambition of our organisation. It also accompanies the group’s shift towards a new strategy of sustainable and profitable growth, with one ambition: to drive gaming and betting forward, with purpose and impact.
As FDJ UNITED, I am proud to say that we now number more than 5,000 talented people across nearly 15 countries, working with a new operational model and a clear path ahead for future growth.
For me, the name FDJ UNITED is a clear signal of our commitment to growth and innovation. The new brand reinforces our strategic aspirations, serving as a powerful identity that aligns with our vision for sustainable and profitable growth. Importantly, it also symbolises our desire for collaboration, bringing new and existing employees together under a single banner where everyone belongs and feels valued.
The gaming and betting sector, both in France and internationally, is both dynamic and constantly evolving. The very essence of FDJ UNITED embodies our ambition to act as a benchmark player in the gaming industry. As a unified entity, we will foster an international culture, drawing upon our rich heritage as La Française des Jeux while paving the way for future innovations and partnerships.
While our name has evolved, our core mission remains the same. We are committed to creating a positive impact for our players, stakeholders and society as a whole. This is central to our ethos, and we will continue to prioritise player protection alongside the sustainability of our business. Through enhanced technology and the integration of artificial intelligence, FDJ UNITED will lead the way in promoting safe gaming and betting practices that positively impact society, while sharing the value created by the company with all its stakeholders. This is the essence of our Group’s new slogan: Playful. Play fair. Play forward.
Despite our new identity, we will never forget the emotional connection we share with our roots. Our presence in France, underscored by nearly 29,000 points of sale, gives us a unique position to engage with our community. Our legacy remains important to us, and we will honour this heritage by keeping our current FDJ branding in France, even as we expand our international horizons.
As we lift the curtain on our new corporate identity, we begin to build a new group based on a resolutely international identity and culture, one that resonates with our enduring values while embracing the dynamism of our global intentions.
Looking at everything we have achieved and at the bright future ahead for the new group, I am filled with enthusiasm and optimism as we take this bold step together.
As FDJUNITED, we are embarking on an incredible journey of growth, transformation and endless possibilities.
